Changing my lifestyle
For those of you who are new to reading my stuff I should tell you that I have gallstones...currently. I have actually been aware of them for around 3 years now and have learned to change my eating habits accordingly. What does that mean? It means lowering the amount of sugar and fat that I consume. It means consuming more green and raw foods. It means a healthier lifestyle. I wanted to keep my gallbladder since it was not infected and I think that you should try to keep the organs in your body if you can. However, after two pregnancies (the 2nd one being especially hard), I am done. Since baby #2 arrived 2 months ago I have been in a lot of pain most of the time regardless of what I eat unless I go completely non-fat. I know some people go this route with great success, but it's not the route for me. I like to eat fat...granted, I plan to keep my diet low in fat, but some fat is good. Anyway, I am hoping to have my gallbladder out in the next few weeks and we'll see from there. In the meantime, most of my cooking adventures will revolve around cooking for others, etc. Then hopefully, I will be bale to let my passion come out again.

Although I have my other blog to record the daily things that are going on in my life, I thought I needed to have an organized place to keep my foodie adventures. So, I created this blog just for that. Look forward to yumminess...
